About us
Ciao! We are Anna & Diana, a full-time professional language teacher and a freelance translator.
We met quite a few years ago while studing Asian languages at university in Venice, when we created our first Website on Chinese culture. We are now having the time of our life creating content for learners of Italian, especially English speakers, who may find it particularly hard to figure out our unnerving grammar, or who need help to progress from a beginner level, or who just want to go beyond the stereotypes, learn authentic everyday Italian, and engage with Italian culture and lifestyle.
Why do we use British spelling in our content? British English is what we were taught in school from a young age, but we have nothing against American English or other variants. We just had to make a choice :)
